Welcome to Il Vino
Here at Il Vino we have always had a very simple goal - to provide our valued customers with a selection of outstanding wines from around the world, and now you can enjoy our entire selection of wines from our retail section, along with a selection of delicious charcuterie, cheeses and other lite bites in our wine bar.
The wine bar has been created to provide an inviting and informal setting to enjoy wine with us any time of day, be it a glass with a quick bit of lunch, a cheeky one on the way home from work or shopping, or a relaxing and more intimate atmosphere in the evening.
To compliment the wines and champagnes we have a delicious selection of cheeses, charcuterie and vegetarian plates, as well as a variety of crostini, bruschetta or cicchetti for small bites.
We have 21 covers for table service, so reservations are recommended for the evenings - just give us a quick call on 020 8504 8799.

Our retail section offering 600+ outstanding wines from around the world has moved to the rear of the premises and is open throughout the whole day and evening and we would be delighted to discuss how we can help you - whether it's choosing a wine to enjoy at Il Vino, the perfect wine for any occasion, or finding a special gift.

Wine Tasting Events
If you've ever wanted to learn more about different styles of wine from the experts and discover new and exciting wines from around the world in a relaxing and informal way, come along to our series of wine tasting evenings.
We'll introduce you to some outstanding wines from around the world, explaining about each one in a sociable, friendly, non-technical manner (but feel free to ask whatever questions you like!)
In March we are truly honoured to host what can only be described as 'Tuscan royalty', with two of the region's oldest and finest Chianti producers. We'll be doing these as Part 1 with Barone Ricasoli on Weds 5th, and Part 2 with Dievole on Tues 25th.
The Ricasoli family have been in Tuscany since 1141 and were the original creators of Chianti Classico. Similarly, Dievole (from 'Dio vuole' - literally, 'God willing') have been in existence since 1040 and have an equally rich and noble history, and both make truly outstanding wines!
In between, we are thrilled to welcome the legendary Australian producer Penfolds on Weds 12th, where we will taste wines from their iconic Australian, Californian and Bordeaux collections, and on Weds 19th we welcome Norton, one of the oldest and most awarded wineries in Argentina, founded by Englishman Edmund Norton in Mendoza in 1895 using French vines and is now owned by the Swarovski family.
On Weds 16th April (recent date change) we are delighted to have Domaine Chanson with us from Beaune in the heart of Burgundy to showcase their stunning wines. Founded in 1750 under Louis XI, Domaine Chanson is today owned by the Bollinger family and produces some of the regions finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards.
We'll be adding more tastings into April and the rest of the year very shortly, but below is a summary of those we have confirmed as of today and to book tickets either please call into the shop or give us a call on 020 8504 8799, or just reply to this email.
As usual, tastings will be at 7.30pm on a Wednesday (but if we can't make that work with a particular producer we may go for a Tuesday if necessary) and we'll serve a welcome glass of bubbles on arrival and a selection of delicious charcuterie, cheeses, olives and breads to accompany the wines.
